When a link may earn us money
Some links on Greecyz may be affiliate links. If you book or buy through one, Greecyz may earn a commission. It never changes the price you pay.
Right now we use affiliate links for car hire, through DiscoverCars.com. If we add other partners, such as accommodation or activities, we will list them here.
Where a link is an affiliate link, we say so next to the link or at the top of the page. We link to a place because we would recommend it, and we link to places that have no affiliate programme too.
A commission never changes a guide’s label, its opinion or the places we recommend. The labels say how we know a place.
We do not rent cars or handle bookings. If you book through a partner link, your contract is with the provider, not with Greecyz.
Relationships with places we write about
One of us works in hotel management, so we may have a connection to a place we write about. We tell you when we do.
Past workplaces. One of us has worked at hotels in Greece and Cyprus. If we write about one of them, the guide says so.
Hosted visits, free stays and gifts. We do not take payment in exchange for a positive review. If we visit as a guest of the property, or accept a gift, we say so in the guide. A hosted visit is also shown on the guide’s card on the Hotel Insider Reviews page.
Paid services. Greecyz may offer paid services, such as trip planning. We also make digital guest guides and operations kits for hotels and guesthouses (see For hosts). When a page describes a paid service, it is clearly marked. If a place we write about is also a client, the guide says so.
